Not tomorrow, not in a week, today, now…

How many times did we want to say or do some things when we had the opportunity and let it go without making the most of it? How many times have we regretted not finding the courage or even the audacity at the right time?
They say “it’s never too late…” and “better late than never…” but many times, this “slow” catches up with us because it doesn’t go through our control. We are responsible for and can control our behavior, what we decide to do or not to do, and when we want to act.
If you’re looking for the perfect moment, the ideal place, and the ideal conditions… Now is the time, for a phone call you’ve been putting off for a long time, for a “sorry,” for an “I love you,” for a hug, for a conversation that will bring souls closer together, for a visit that will fill the other’s home and heart, to give him a gift, to prepare him a delicious dinner… for a moment that will show to the other how special he is and how vital his existence is to you.
Quite clichéd and ordinary, but: don’t leave for tomorrow what you can do today. Only when it is too late, when this person no longer exists in our lives, do we realize what we could do all the time we let go, what words we should fail to use and what actions we should have done when the possibility existed.
So don’t delay, start today, now…
